Tina Kuna, Dream Dinners Co-founder, leads a fun team of volunteers each spring to bike the beautiful Snohomish, Washington country back roads for charity. In its second year, the Living the Dream Ride is everything a woman could want: fresh air, friends, fitness and fun! This year, the proceeds will go to Make-A-Wish® Alaska and Washington.
1st Women’s Living the Dream Ride Launches Successfully
The ride we dubbed Washington State’s Most Beautiful Ride for Women” lived up to it’s name as Dream Dinners, Living the Dream Foundation launched a spectacular recreational ride in the company’s hometown of Snohomish, Washington. See highlights from the slide show at www.livingthedreamride.org
Women cyclists traveled from Canada, Oregon and across the Pacific Northwest to ride one of four flat courses thru beautiful countryside on a sunny warm day. | Help us raise money and awareness for Prader-Willi syndrome research Cruiser bike riders gear up for 203 Miles of Heartfelt Fundraising! 10,000 cyclists will ride 203 miles in the STP (Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic). But in a couple of weeks, a team of 17 men and women will fly in from around the west coast and do something die-hard bicyclists wouldn’t dare - ride a heavy, single speed 42-pound old fashioned beach cruiser in the Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic. Other riders used to laugh at them and call them “showoffs”. But now days, the team gets respect and encouragement, even a thumbs up from other cyclists who cheer their cause. |
